⇒ Where is the departure station ?
The main train station is Cernay St André, located in Cernay, 2km away from the SNCF station.
The train can also be taken from the stations of Burnhaupt-le-Haut and Sentheim.
⇒ I want to cancel my ticket, how can I do?
In the confirmation email for your order, just scroll down until you see “gérer ma commande”.
Click on this link to cancel the ticket.
Your tickets will be put back on sale and you will be refunded within the following days.
⇒ What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay by cash, debit/credit card, check or “chèques vacances ANCV”.
⇒ Is it possible to eat on site?
Picnic tables are available at our Sentheim terminus. Our bar offers hot&cold drinks and ice cream.
A foodtruck is also present on our circulations.
⇒ How long is the journey ?
Time to go from Cernay St André to Sentheim : 1:30
Time fo go back from Sentheim to Cernay : 1:00
Total round-trip time: between 3 and 4 hours depending on the circulations
⇒ How much time in advance should I arrive at the station?
To enjoy the arrival of our trains and take the time to settle in, please arrive 30 minutes before the departure time.
⇒ Can strollers, prams, or car seats be brought on board the trains?
Strollers, prams, or car seats are allowed on board certain passenger cars. However, for some themed trains, they are not advised for safety reasons as our cars are filled.
The Train Thur Doller Alsace can’t be held responsible in case of theft or damage; these items must remain under your supervision.
⇒ Is there wheelchair access available ?
We have a specially equipped car to welcome you. Please feel free to approach our assistance agents so they can help you board safely. However, some of our intermediate platforms along the route are not wheelchair-friendly, so access may be difficult for people with reduced
mobility.
Our restrooms in Sentheim are also equipped for people with reduced mobility.
⇒ Do the trains run in rainy weather?
The trains run in any weather conditions.
⇒ I can’t make a reservation because the booking website is blocked.
It may happen that the maximum booking capacity has been reached. We apologize, but for safety reasons, we cannot accommodate more people. This question is often asked during our themed trains.

⇒ I would like to use my free ticket (voucher); how can I do that?
You have a free ticket from us? That’s great! We’re delighted to welcome you! With free tickets, you can’t book online on our website. We suggest you come directly to the ticket office, our wonderful ticketing staff will provide you with a nice cardboard ticket according to the number of people in your party, meeting the criteria (maximum 2 adults and 3 children).
⇒ Do children under 4 years old need a ticket?
All passengers must have a valid ticket to board the trains, even if they don’t pay for it.
⇒ Do our trains have restrooms on board?
No, only our stations are equipped with restrooms except for the departure station at Cernay St André.
⇒ Can I bring my dog with me?
Our four-legged friends are welcome on board our trains, and it’s free! They must be kept on a leash at all times on the train and in our stations. “Doggy Bars” are available at our various stations. Feel free to ask our assistance agents if needed.
⇒ Can I travel with my bike?
On our trains, transporting bikes and trailers is possible. We have a special car for bike storage. A trailer counts as one bike, a tandem counts as two bikes.
